Corcelles

This unique project combines heritage enhancement with highly complex technical solutions.
The original walls of the old farmhouse were preserved, and the agricultural section was rebuilt with the same proportions as the historic structure.
The new volume respects the visual and structural balance of the building, giving it a new purpose without losing its identity.
The transformation resulted in eight apartments of different layouts, all taking advantage of generous volumes and abundant natural light.
Each unit reflects the architecture of its time, now adapted for modern comfort and standards.
One of the biggest challenges was excavating and expanding the basement beneath the existing structure, without compromising the stability of the old walls.
The intervention was carried out with precision and deep respect for the original building.
It’s a clear example of how tradition and modernity can coexist in harmony.
A new story begins where so many others have already passed.

Between rural heritage and contemporary living, a project with soul and purpose

More than restoring a building, this project reactivates the symbolic value of a central space in the village. Each apartment was designed to combine authenticity with modern practicality. The interventions respected the local building heritage, highlighting wood, stone, and the original volumes. The rural landscape was not only preserved but also celebrated through architectural choices. The interior layout prioritizes comfort, light, and spatial flow. The farmhouse in Corcelles-le-Jorat is once again inhabited with meaning and sensitivity. A renovation that looks to the future without erasing the past.

Where the past remains alive, and the future finds room to grow.

Where engineering meets memory, a new kind of architecture is born. Gollion embodies the balance between structural boldness and respect for the past.
